SWEET POTATO PICKING
Sweet Potato picking is a seasonal, traditional and a favorite outdoor activity of kids during the fall season. Kindergarten schools are the usual participants of this event, and so Child land Monkey Bear and Lion Teams do this yearly.
Today is November 5th, the weather is perfect for today`s activity. The kids prepared early, they geared up themselves and we started travelling from Childland to Azamino, Yokohama. We rode the train and we transferred to another, then we took the bus to the foot of a hill and, from there, we walked and went uphill towards the Sweet Potato Farm.

After our sumptuous lunch and eating the harvested potatoes for dessert,
we were allowed to play in this huge bamboo forest.
